Praises Norwegian music

by Kjell Bækkelund

-I am deeply impressed by the variety of the Norwegian music scene! It is not just anybody expressing the laudatory words: Robert Layton, a main character on the rich music scene in London. Longstanding employee in the legendary The Gramophone, BBC producer for many years, lecturer, journalist in the daily press and more. And - the greatest English music expert on the Nordic countries.

-Should I make a wish, it would be a better reflection abroad of the the noticeable diversity which exists in Norway. I believe that Johan Kvandal is a great composer, who we should be listening more to in England.
